Tras varios días con el cielo cubierto, las estrellas parecían haber abandonado el firmamento para caer sobre la bahía de Piriápolis. En la calma de la madrugada, las luces de …las embarcaciones que partían a la zafra se dispersaban sobre el mar sereno como una constelación en movimiento, fundiéndose con los reflejos de la ciudad sobre aguas tan quietas que parecían un espejo. Bajo el abrigo de las nubes que rodeaban al Cerro Pan de Azúcar, la bahía se convirtió por unas horas en un cielo invertido, donde las estrellas parecían navegar sobre el agua.

After several days of overcast skies, the stars seemed to have abandoned the heavens and fallen into the Bay of Piriápolis. In the stillness of dawn, the lights of the fishing boats heading out for the season’s harvest spread across the calm sea like a moving constellation, blending with the reflections of the city on waters so tranquil they seemed like a mirror. Beneath the blanket of clouds surrounding Pan de Azúcar Hill, the bay became, for a few hours, an inverted sky, where the stars appeared to sail upon the water.Mostrar más
